All of us can fall victim to online identity theft. If we do not take preventive measures in keeping our important information safe from public access. The main problem with us is our habit in handling our information. Often we easily give out our passwords and pins to our friends. This should not be the case. It is always recommended that you keep those information to yourself as much as possible. When we are on an ATM, we should always be aware of the people behind us. There might be skimmers and shoulder surfers trying to steal your pin while you are actually typing them. There are a lot of ways thieves can exploit your identity and social security, not just using your credit line. They can also trade them for cash to fraudulent entities.
