Cold Calling Your Way to a Job (Part 1)

These days, there are lots of job search methods employed by job seekers to find employment such as internet employment, networking and referrals. Each of them has its own approach in tapping the opportunities in the employment market. But if you think you’ve used them all and you want something that requires guts and brains, then you might want to consider cold calling or the concept of calling employers directly to look for a job.

While it is seen as a difficult strategy, cold calling can be powerful in locating jobs. Basically, it gives you an opportunity to set up an interview for yourself and position your name at the top of the hiring manager’s mind should the company open up a position in the future. (to be concluded)
